A Memorable Life For 4 Of Us Chapter 1 - A Sweet Beginning (English)

Little kitty is a stray cat. One of the things she does as a stray cat is visit people's homes. By visiting different homes, she not only meets her basic needs, but also witnesses the lives, memories, joys, and sorrows of different people. As she listens to them, she tries to understand them, learns new things, and manages her life in this way.

On a rainy evening, the kitten runs to find a house to shelter from the rain and warm up. She then notices a house with the lights on and thinks to herself:

— (inner voice) A house with the lights on! It would be good if there were some food.

She comes to the front door of the house. First, it climbs onto the window sill with its paws. Inside, the homeowner is sweeping the room. She taps and scratches the windowpane with its paw a few times, but the homeowner doesn't seem to hear her.

— (inner voice) Maybe I should try the door...

This time, she jumps down to the front of the door. She scratches at the door with her paw a few times. A middle-aged woman appears in front of it. The homeowner, who seems to be someone who doesn't like animals and is rude, looks at the kitten with a frown, isn't very pleased to see it, and tells it to leave. She closes the door in the kitten's face. "I guess she didn't understand... Maybe I should be more explicit" she thinks to herself, scratching at the door a few more times with her paws. The homeowner appears at the door again. "You again!?" she says, picking up the cat and placing it at the bottom of the stairs. "Go on, shoo!" waves her hand "Don't let me see you here again!" and slams the door shut.

— (inner voice) Come on! I just wanted some food.

She tries a third time. This time, the homeowner gets even more angry and pushes the kitten away with the broom in her hand, but the kitten climbs back up the small steps. Realizing that the little kitty won't give up, the homeowner gets even more angry and this time kicks the kitten hard in the stomach.

"GET OUT, YOU FILTHY CREATURE!" she shouts and slams the door again.

Little kitty falls a short distance from the house due to the force of the kick and is dazed. "What... happened?... Agh..." she says as she gets to her feet. In pain, she struggles to get back on its feet and thinks to herself, "My body hurts..." as her walks. After walking for a while, on that rainy day, she sees a bench and says, "Here's a place I can rest..." feeling a little relieved. She collapses under the bench, her eyes beginning to close. shivering:

— (inner voice) Brr, I'm cold.... It hurts so much... Please, someone help me...

And after a while, she faints.... She lies there until Evelyn notices her while returning home from grocery shopping and takes her in...

Evelyn sees little kitty lying on the ground and says, "Oh, poor thing! It must be cold..." She picks her up, wraps her in her coat, and continues on her way with her bags. As she walks along the road, the little cat inside Evelyn's coat feels an unfamiliar warmth, opens her eyes, and to herself, "Where am I?..." "This place... is so warm..." and closes her eyes again. Evelyn feels the cat's tiny movement and a smile appears on her face.

"Friends, I'm home!" Evelyn says as she enters the house. When she arrives home, she places her coat, boots, and umbrella on the hook to her left and enters the house, walks into the living room. Paul is reading a book and says, "Hello, Evelyn!" He gets up from the sofa he is sitting in and goes to Evelyn's side. Taylor, on the other hand, is playing a game on his computer in his room and hadn't noticed Evelyn's arrival. When Paul sees the cat Evelyn is holding, he says:

— Did you bring a cat home? What a nice surprise!

Taylor had finished the game by then:

— Oh, come on, I lost again!...

Taylor hears Paul and Evelyn talking about the cat, say, "A cat?" curiously, and goes to the living room to join them, not knowing anything yet.

— Hello, Evelyn. I’m sorry, I was playing a game on my computer and didn’t notice you come in. What are you talking about? sees the cat What is this cat?  

Evelyn:  

— I saw it lying wet under a bench outside. Then I decided to bring it home.

Taylor takes the cat from Evelyn and starts petting her. The kitten opens her eyes in the house: 

— (inner voice) So these are her friends...

Paul:

— You did the right thing. The poor thing must have gotten pretty cold in the rain.

Taylor:

— Then why don't we give it a warm bath? Let's go to the bathroom!

Paul:

— Sure, I’ll come too.

Both of them go to the bathroom. Evelyn is happy about the situation:

— Well, I’ll go take care of the other chores, she says, heading to the kitchen.

After putting away the things she bought at the market, an idea comes to her mind, and she sets to work preparing a warm spot for the kitten. Just as Evelyn finishes, Taylor and Paul come out of the bathroom with the little kitty wrapped in a towel. They dry it first with the towel, then with the dryer. After turning off the dryer, they brush the kitten.

Taylor:

— We're done! Now we're cleaner.

Paul:

— Its fur is so beautiful and shiny, don't you think?

Taylor:

— Yes, and so cuuute!

Paul:

— Yes, cute too.

In the meantime, they play with the kitten and take care of her, especially Taylor. :)

Little kitty (inner voice) while playing with Taylor:

— This human is fun! :)

Finally, when it's late:

Taylor:

— *yawns* I'm so sleepy...

Evelyn:

— Yeah, me too... I'm going to bed. Good night, guys..

Paul:

— Good night, Evelyn.

Taylor:

— Good night, Evelyn.

Evelyn goes to her room.

Paul:

— I think I'll go to bed too. Good night, Taylor.

Taylor:

— Good night Paul...

After Paul leaves, Taylor feels even more sleepy. Taylor, tired, says to the kitten:

— Today... we both got really tired, didn't we, buddy? And now it's time to sleep... I think I'll put you in the warm spot Evelyn made...

He picks up the little kitty and carry her to the warm spot Evelyn made.

The kitten falls asleep right there...

— Goodnight... little kitty..., he says, petting her head one last time before going to his room. Taylor stands up from where he was crouching and head to his room.

He enters his room, and with the door closing, the story of the first chapter comes to the end...
